People loved the idea of staying updated with the latest news, and staying connected, always. However, Microsoft goes on to making the Start Screen even more fascinating in its latest release of Windows 8.1, giving the users added features of new tile sizes, personalized options, Bing search, etc. Furthermore, Start Screen in 8.1 is “cleaner” than its previous release owing to the fact that installed apps don’t get automatically pinned to the Start Screen. In fact, the user can choose which apps to create shortcuts for, and which to be seen only when the Apps view screen is entered.
